Imports

Imports refer to the process of bringing cruise data into the plugin from external sources, primarily via the TravelTek API. The import process includes cruise lines, ships, sailings, ports, cabins, and more.

Import Process

1. Cruise Lines: Imported first, as they are the parent for all other cruise data.
2. Ships: Imported for each cruise line.
3. Sailings: Imported for each ship.
4. Ports: Imported as part of sailings.
5. Cabins: Imported for each ship.

Manual vs. Automatic Imports

• Manual Imports: Can be triggered from the plugin interface for specific cruise lines or ships.
• Automatic Imports: Scheduled imports that run overnight to keep data up to date.

API Data Sources

The plugin supports multiple data sources, such as TravelTek, Widgety, or manual entry. The data source can be set per cruise line.
